The answer

Among the things forbidden to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but not to his Ummah, are:

1. Charity (): He does not consume charity.

2. Replacing wives or marrying others in addition to them: It was not permissible for him to marry women after his existing wives, nor to divorce some of them and take others in their place. It has been said that this ruling was abrogated later.

3. Marrying a Kitābī (a woman from the People of the Book): It was forbidden for him to marry a free Kitābī woman, because his wives are mothers of the believers.

4. Deceitful glances (khā’inat al-a‘yun): It was forbidden for him to steal glances or make subtle gestures with his eyes.

5. Removing armor after donning it: It was not permissible for him to remove his armor after putting it on until he had fought.
