Which is better: giving charity on days of voluntary fasting, such as the fast of David, or on Mondays and Thursdays when deeds are raised, or is there no difference between them?

There is no sharia (definition)-based evidence that specifically recommends giving charity on Mondays and Thursdays. However, some scholars have deemed it good, by analogy, due to the encouragement to fast on these days, as deeds are presented on them. Taking the initiative to give charity is better than delaying it, especially when there is an urgent need for the recipient, or a fear of obstacles that might prevent giving charity later. The Muslim should always strive for what is best, and if charity is facilitated on a day of fasting, it is a praiseworthy matter, due to the virtue of combining righteous deeds.
