The answer

A married sister may be given if she and her husband are poor. She is obligated to pay zakat on the money received if a year has passed over it and it has reached the , as well as on its profit if it is in a permissible deposit. However, if she is self-sufficient with her salary or her husband's maintenance, then it is not permissible for her to take zakat, and she must return it.
