It is permissible to give an indebted brother from funds if his salary is insufficient for his living expenses and debt repayment, and if he is committed and does not waste his money on things that displease Allah, due to the Almighty’s saying: "and for those in debt." However, if his debt resulted from something forbidden, it should not be paid off for him unless he repents to Allah.
