Is it permissible to give zakat to a university student of Sharia sciences who needs money to buy books, and whose income is insufficient to cover his expenses and those of his family?

It is permissible for a poor student of knowledge to take from to purchase the books he needs for his studies, because these are considered among the necessities of a student of knowledge, and this does not fall outside the eight categories for the distribution of Zakat.
