Is it permissible to give out Zakat on wealth a month and ten days before its due date (Hawl) to increase reward in the month of Ramadan, and does this waive the obligation of Zakat?

Scholars have stipulated that for zakat (definition) to be obligatory, the wealth must reach the nisab (definition) (minimum threshold) and a full hawl (lunar year) must pass. It is impermissible by scholarly consensus to pay zakat in advance before possessing the nisab. Jurists differ regarding the permissibility of paying zakat in advance before the completion of the hawl. The Maliki school of thought holds that it is impermissible, except if the hawl is nearing its completion by about a month, and even then, it is considered disliked (makruh (definition)). However, the majority of scholars are of the opinion that it is permissible to pay it in advance before the completion of the hawl, especially if there is a benefit, such as the urgent need of the poor. This is the more preponderant opinion if the reason for its obligation—namely, the possession of the nisab—is present. So, if its owner pays it before the hawl, it is valid and sufficient for him.
