Is zakat obligatory on gold saved for a bride, knowing that it has reached the nisab and a small amount of it is worn for adornment from time to time, and if it is obligatory, what about the zakat for past years for someone who does not have an independent income?

Gold bought with a portion of the dowry is the property of the wife. If the intention behind the gold combines both saving and adornment, then is obligatory on it, provided it reaches the (85 grams) and one hawl (lunar year) passes over it. The amount of zakat is a quarter of a tenth (2.5%) of the gold, and it must be paid for every past year in which zakat was not paid, provided the conditions were met.
