Should the saved money that was spent on building a house and getting married be subject to zakat, or should the new money be subject to zakat when a Hawl (lunar year) has passed over it?

The new money is not related to the hawl (one-year period) of the first money, of which nothing remains. The hawl for the new money begins from the date of its possession, and its is not obligatory until a full lunar year has passed since its acquisition and the (minimum threshold) has been met, provided that the nisab does not decrease during the hawl. The basis for this is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There is no zakat on money until a hawl passes over it." It is permissible to pay zakat in advance before the hawl if there is a benefit for the poor.
