The answer

The household head acting as an agent over his salary is not permitted to dispose of it except in ways that serve its best interest. He should spend from it only on himself, his wife, and his unmarried daughter. It is permissible for him to take from it in a reasonable manner if he is in need, by analogy with the words of Allah Almighty: "And whoever is rich, let him abstain [from taking a fee]; and whoever is poor, let him take thereof in a just and reasonable manner." As for the rest of the sons and married daughters, they have no right to this money except after the father's death, as an inheritance. The agent must pay the on the money if it reaches the , and invest the remainder. He is not permitted to give charity or donations from it because it is someone else's money.
