Is zakat on money obligatory for the price of a piece of agricultural land bought after the passing of a year, knowing that I pay zakat on the produce?

If the land was purchased with the intention of acquiring it for personal use (Qinya), there is no due on it, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no (zakat) on a man's slave or his horse." However, if it was purchased with the intention of trade and profit, then its value must be assessed every year, and a quarter of one-tenth (2.5%) of its value must be given as zakat.
