The answer

It is not permissible to deal with someone who claims knowledge of unseen matters, because he is either a soothsayer or deals with jinn. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned that whoever goes to a soothsayer or diviner and believes him, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days, or he has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad. And whoever fears envy or the evil eye should perform according to the Shariah.
