The answer

The correct expression to describe a servant's action is "facilitated for that for which he was created." His action is by Allah's decree, but he has a will and choice in it.

Good and evil are by Allah's decree, knowledge, inscription in the Preserved Tablet, and His creation of them. Thus, everything is from Allah.

"Whatever good befalls you is from Allah" means that blessings are a favor from Allah, and "whatever evil befalls you is from yourself" means that calamities are due to the servant's disobedience and the evils of his own soul.

Everything the servant does, whether good or otherwise, Allah Almighty has known it, written it, willed it, and created it. This is the reality of divine decree ().
