Divine Decree

• Is it possible for Allah the Almighty to make us believe in wrong things as right, such as making us believe that the convergence of two opposites is possible or obligatory, and what then would be the extent of trust and certainty in what we rationalize or perceive, especially with the supplication, “Oh Allah, show us the truth as truth and grant us the grace to follow it, and show us falsehood as falsehood and grant us the grace to avoid it”?
• Is it permissible to supplicate with "O Allah, we do not ask You to avert the decree, but we ask You for gentleness in it"?
• How can one advise an unjust official who is obstinate in his opinion, and how can one deal with and be patient with his actions?
• Is the continuous practice of masturbation, and at times without the ability to resist, due to magic, jinn, or an evil deed, or is it fate and divine decree?
• Why does one go through the stages of reckoning on the Day of Judgment when one already knows one's destiny beforehand?

Is obedience to the mosque's leader (amir) obligatory unless he commands disobedience? Is it permissible to break ranks (of the congregation) in case of disagreement? What are the conditions that must be met by someone permitted to teach and deliver sermons in the mosque? And does the imam have the right to prevent someone from doing so if he deems it necessary?
• What is the difference between qadar (divine decree) and luck? This is, if there is such a thing as luck.
• What are the parameters for complaining to Allah, the Exalted, and is expressing weariness and worry considered discontent with Allah's decree, and is intense weeping during supplication for worldly matters considered discontent or impatience?

• To what extent is it permissible to say, "All praise is due to You, there is nothing better than what You have decreed, but my heart is utterly broken," and does this constitute an objection to divine decree and destiny?
• How can it be just for someone destined for wretchedness from eternity to enter Hellfire, even though Allah is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and His mercy encompasses all things, while the majority of people will be among the inhabitants of Hellfire?
• Does a girl's refusal to marry me after performing Istikhara prayer mean that I am the worst of people or not among the good ones?
• Is applying light makeup during the prospective spouse viewing considered one of the reasons for acceptance that are taken into account for the marriage to be completed?
• Is the Hadith, "If the heavens and all therein, and the earth and all thereon, were to gather together to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with something Allah has already written for you; and if they were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with something Allah has already written for you," authentic or weak?
