If Allah Almighty is the Wisest of Rulers, and His decree is with wisdom and not in vain, then why did He grant me high intellectual abilities, knowing that I would not succeed in the general secondary examination, yet He still bestowed those abilities upon me?

A Muslim must be certain that all matters are in the hands of Allah, and he must take the necessary means and strive diligently in his studies. The strong believer who is keen on what benefits him and seeks help from Allah is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer. It is not appropriate to neglect the means and rely solely on destiny; rather, one must work and fulfill religious obligations, for everyone is facilitated for what they were created for. A Muslim must strive to remove evil with good, disbelief with faith, and disobedience with obedience, and he must seek Allah's help in all of that.
