What do you know about Sheikh Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri?
Shaykh Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri was born in a village near Benares, India, in the 1940s. He studied according to the traditional educational system and was a professor of Fiqh and at the Salafia University in Benares. He served as editor-in-chief of the journal "Muhaddith" and worked as a researcher at the Center for and Sirah at the Islamic University in Madinah. Currently, he works as a researcher at Darussalam Library in Riyadh. His works include: Sharh Muslim (Commentary on Sahih Muslim), Talkhis Ibn Kathir (Summary of Tafsir Ibn Kathir), Sharh Bulugh al-Maram (Commentary on Bulugh al-Maram), and Al-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).
