The answer

The person mentioned needs supplication (Du'a) and advice, by explaining the importance of prayer, as abandoning it is considered disbelief (kufr), in accordance with the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Between a man and disbelief or (polytheism) is the abandonment of prayer." Also, neglecting one's family is a dereliction of trust, in accordance with His (the Almighty) saying: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire" (Quran 66:6), and the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Each of you is a guardian and each of you is responsible for his flock." It is advised to adhere to supplications (Du'a) and remembrance (). If he is afflicted in his mind, then he can resort to shariyyah (Islamic exorcism/incantation), while being cautious of fortune-tellers and charlatans.
