Is it permissible to write Surat Al-Fatihah and place it in water while repeating the name "Al-Wadud" to drink and wash with it, with the intention of facilitating marriage?

Delayed marriage does not necessarily mean the presence of magic or the evil eye, but Ruqyah (definition) Shariah (Islamic exorcism) is prescribed for the Muslim. Allah Almighty commanded His servants to seek help through patience, prayer, and supplication, and promised to answer those who supplicate to Him with certainty and presence of heart. A mother's supplication for her daughter is among the answered prayers.

Ruqyah Shariah is performed by reciting Al-Fatihah and other parts of the Qur'an. It is not permissible to substitute this with writing it down. Using the Beautiful Names of Allah in supplication is permissible, but specifying a certain number of repetitions for a particular name for a specific purpose without evidence is considered an innovation (bid'ah). Also, dhikr (remembrance of Allah) using only a single name is an innovation not found in Islamic law.

The best way to achieve love among people is to adhere to Allah's law, for Allah loves the obedient and makes them beloved to His creation. Increase supplication during times of answered prayers, such as the last third of the night, during prostration, and between the adhan (definition) and iqamah (definition). Any surah (definition) from the Qur'an can be recited, and one can supplicate with it. Among the reasons for achieving marriage are chastity and uprightness. There is no harm for a woman or her family to propose her to someone whose religion and character are approved.

Ruqyah with the Qur'an by recitation is prescribed. As for writing the Qur'an and drinking its water, many scholars, such as Imam Ahmad, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim, and Al-Nawawi, permitted it, while others prohibited it.
