The Quran is a healing and a mercy for believers, for ailments of the heart and body, and (recitation of Quran for healing) with it is beneficial, especially with the Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite them and blow on himself when he fell ill.
