Is it permissible to recite Surat Taha with the intention of softening someone's heart, or to recite Surat Ya-Sin with the intention of hastening marriage and seeking success, or to recite Surat Taha for hastening a girl's marriage?

"Associating specific matters and purposes with particular surahs (chapters) of the Quran is not permissible unless there is a legitimate Sharia proof for it. Otherwise, it would be considered an innovation in religion. There is no proof for dedicating specific surahs of the Quran to facilitate marriage. The purpose of the Quran's revelation is far greater than that; it was revealed as an admonition, guidance, mercy, light, and a cure for what is in the hearts. Allah says: 'O mankind, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers' (Yunus: 57). And He, glorified be He, says: 'There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book. With it, Allah guides whoever follows His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light by His permission and guides them to a straight path' (Al-Ma'idah: 15-16)."
