Does a song that describes God as a "provider of drink" contain anything that goes against the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (Sunni Muslims), especially in its lines: "You are a provider of drink, You are Everlasting, give me to drink a pure cup"?

There is no harm in the poem, and it is permissible to supplicate using the attributes of Allah, such as: "O Answerer of the prayer of the distressed," "O Guide of the perplexed"; because it is an informing about Allah with what is a constant attribute of His. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa (definition) permitting the saying of "O Helper, O Facilitator, O Granter of Ease, O Lord"; because the intended is Allah, the Exalted.
