It is not permissible to listen to or disseminate a poem that begins with seeking aid from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, due to the polytheism it contains. Seeking aid should only be from Allah the Almighty, just as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did when he sought aid from Allah. If the poem also contains music, that is likewise forbidden.
