What is the ruling on wounding Tawhid (monotheism) by speaking little, despite the soundness of one's 'aqidah (creed)?

The call to Tawhid (definition) (monotheistic belief) and warning against what contradicts it is the most emphasized of matters that preachers and scholars must attend to, for they follow in the footsteps of the Prophets. Everyone must be keen on gaining a deep understanding of Tawhid and avoiding anything that compromises it, and frequently recite the supplication: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know." Learning the Quran and Sunnah (definition) and the biographies of the Prophets helps in this, for the Quran speaks extensively about Allah, His Oneness, and His commands. Ibn al-Qayyim has clarified that the essence of the Quran is to inform about the attributes, names, and actions of the Lord. As for disparaging those known for the soundness of their creed due to speaking less about Tawhid, it is not permissible before offering mutual advice and dialogue, for they may have their reasons, and the default assumption is the soundness of a Muslim. The standing of a scholar who has a strong footing in Islam should not be undermined due to a slip for which they might be excused.
