Are there any sayings of the scholars regarding the word "نبائ المرسلين" (Prophets' tidings) in Surah Al-An'am, and "سأوريكم" (I will show you) in Al-A'raf and Al-Anbiya, concerning the secrets of the Uthmani script?

The scholars added letters (Yā' and Wāw) in specific words in the Holy Qur’an. The Yā’ was added in examples such as: (نَبَائَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ - the tidings of the Messengers), (مَلَئِهِ - its chiefs), (وَمِنْ آنَائِي اللَّيْلِ - and from the hours of the night), and (بِأَيِّيكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ - which of you is afflicted with madness), and others. Whereas the Wāw was added in: (أُولُو - possessors of), (سَأُورِيكُمْ - I will show you).

Al-Suyuti mentioned that the addition of these letters serves to convey magnification, emphasis, threat, warning, or the glorification of Allah's power.

Al-Zarkashi clarified that the addition of the Wāw indicates the manifestation of the word's meaning in existence at its highest degree, especially in the context of threat and warning.

Al-Alusi referred to Al-Hasan (definition)’s recitation of (سَأُورِيكُمْ - I will show you) with the prolongation (ishba') of the hamza's vowel.

Al-Marghani mentioned that the addition of the Wāw is for strengthening and clarifying the hamza, or to indicate the prolongation of its vowel and to distinguish it from a shortened vowel (haraka mukhtalasa).
