The answer

There is no objection to naming a newborn girl "Furat," which means: sweet or pure, fresh water. Similarly, "Noor" (light) is also permissible. Both names can be given to males and females, as the masculine and feminine forms in these names are figurative. A name can be common to both genders, such as "Asma," "Hind," "Rabi'ah," and "Harithah."
