The question

What should I do about my husband's refusal to transfer our children from foreign schools to Arabic schools, especially given the presence of practices in foreign schools that do not align with our religious values, and what is the impact of this on the children, and is my husband sinful for this?

The answer

Parents should be aware of the dangers of educating children in foreign schools, and they should learn about the reality and objectives of these schools. Sheikh Bakr Abu Zayd believes that these schools are among the greatest evils that must be abhorred and denounced. It is not permissible for a Muslim who believes in Allah and the Last Day to throw their children into perdition in them, due to the disbelief, atheism, evil, and corruption that children's pure natures receive therein. Parents are responsible for their children, for every child is born upon (innate disposition). If they hand them over to these disbelieving schools, where they receive their education and beliefs from them, they will become polluted after they were pure.
