Is it obligatory to give a slaughtered animal as charity for a newborn girl, and what does the name "Sana" mean?

It has been established from the Sunnah (definition) that two sheep are to be sacrificed for a boy and one for a girl as 'aqiqah (definition). There is no objection to naming a child "Sana" (سنا) with a short 'a' sound, as it does not fall under the forbidden names. The meaning of "Sana'" (سناء) with a prolonged 'a' sound is glory, and "Sana" (سنا) with a short 'a' sound is light, as in the Almighty's saying: "The flash of its lightning almost takes away the sight."
