Is it permissible to throw the umbilical cord of a newborn child near the mosque as an omen of his righteousness, imamate, or adhan?

The umbilical cord is pure and must be buried like the rest of a human's body parts. It is not permissible to place it in the mosque. The optimism mentioned regarding its placement has no basis in Islamic law. Instead, children should be taught the Quran and Islamic knowledge so they may become qualified for leadership in religious matters.
