The answer

Parents must teach their children (monotheism), faith, and worship, instill the love of Allah and His Messenger in their hearts, and warn them against polytheism and deviances to protect their religion and faith and safeguard them from the Hellfire, fulfilling their duty and responsibility. It is not correct to teach children wrong behaviors with the aim of warning them against them; rather, they should be repelled from deviations without allowing them to commit or experience them, such as lying, cheating, and watching forbidden things. Their committing these acts is a reprehensible evil that should not be condoned.
