What should a husband do who discovered his wife's flirtation with his brother, and she confessed to engaging in lewd talk without intercourse, and she regretted it, but he still suffers psychologically from remembering the matter, and he cannot marry another woman for fear of his family's feelings, and he has not confronted his brother?

A husband must protect his wife from tribulations by teaching her matters of her religion, obliging her to dress modestly and wear the hijab (definition), and ensuring she avoids privacy with non-mahram (definition) men, especially relatives such as the husband’s brothers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The brother-in-law is death." The husband should forget what happened with his wife if she repents, and resume his life with her cautiously. His difficult psychological state is normal, but he should not succumb to it. Marrying a second wife is permissible for him if he is able to be just, and he should not inform his brother about what happened.
