Is it permissible to place pictures of Surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Mu'awwidhatayn, Al-Fatiha, and Ayat Al-Kursi on backgrounds that contain fish, starfish, or shells?

There is no harm in using Quranic verses as wallpapers for mobile phone and computer screens, and the like, provided certain conditions are met: that they are for remembrance and admonition, not for mere adornment; that they are written clearly in the Uthmani script without embellishments, engravings, or images of birds or animals; and that the background does not contain prohibited elements such as music. Sheikh Ibn Baz issued a fatwa (definition) permitting the display of verses for remembrance and benefit, while the Islamic Fiqh Academy decided against the permissibility of writing verses on images of birds or other things due to the irreverence and trivialization of Allah's words implied therein. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen also indicated the prohibition of writing verses with embellishments or on images of animals and humans, emphasizing the glorification and respect for the Book of Allah.
