It is permissible for a woman to ride a bus within the city with a group of passengers, provided it is not a journey [safar]. She is required to adhere to Islamic manners, such as wearing , lowering her gaze, and not beautifying herself [tabarruj]. Passengers must enjoin good and forbid evil when they witness it, such as advising the driver if he listens to music. It is forbidden for a woman to ride alone with a non- driver due to the prohibited seclusion [].
