What is the ruling on a wife memorizing the Noble Qur'an in a distant mosque that requires her to ride a bus and return alone, and what is the ruling on her occasionally remaining alone on the bus until it approaches the house, given that she adheres to the full legal hijab?

A woman riding alone with a driver is a matter of scholarly disagreement. Some scholars consider it an unlawful khalwa (private seclusion), while others permit it. If the wife can find another way to memorize the Qur’an without this seclusion, that would be better. Otherwise, we hope there is no harm, provided that there is no fear of temptation, the duration is short, and the location is near the home.
