What is the ruling on working as a broadcaster in the media sector that includes commercial breaks containing songs?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to attend gatherings where forbidden songs are presented. Rather, he must strive to change the evil and distance himself from such gatherings. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. If he is able to convince those in charge of the work to replace the forbidden singing with purposeful, music-free chants, then there is no blame on him for working, and he should strive to fill the channel's airtime with beneficial programs.
