The answer

It is permissible to speak with the jinn possessing a human body during (exorcism), and this should be limited to enjoining good and forbidding evil, informing the jinn of the prohibition of its possession, and warning it of the consequences of its action. If the jinn refuses to leave, the ruqyah performer should continue reciting the Qur'an, performing dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and making supplication. If the jinn is burned as a result, there is no sin. It is not permissible to torture the possessed person or use fire to burn the jinn, as this could lead to great corruption. Jinn possession is established, but not every illness should be attributed to jinn; rather, the presence of possession must be verified by a clear indication.
