There is no impediment to the supplication: "O Allah, mend me (or جبرني)"; for among the meanings of Allah's name "Al-Jabbar" is the mending of the broken, the rectifying of His servant, and the repelling of adversities from him. He is also the Subduer of all things, and the Exalted above all things. This supplication has been mentioned in the remembrance between the two prostrations: "O Lord, forgive me and mend me (واجبُرني)."
