The answer

The game "Ludo" is forbidden because it relies on dice (al-zahr), and dice are forbidden by religious texts, such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever plays with nardashir, it is as if he has dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig." Dice and gambling are an abomination of Satan's handiwork, as stated in the Quran. Some scholars have even considered playing with dice to be among the major sins.
