It is forbidden to travel to countries of disbelief and immorality for tourism. This ruling applies to both men and women equally, as a wife accompanying her husband reduces his exposure to temptations. It is advised to opt for domestic tourism due to the availability of suitable places for committed families, or to travel between governorates to visit relatives, or to perform Umrah (definition). If the husband insists on traveling, the wife is not permitted to request to travel with him, especially if he has made her divorce conditional on her travel. This conditional divorce will occur if she travels, and the husband cannot revoke it after its occurrence.
