What is the ruling on a wife traveling with her husband's family, and is she sinful if she refuses, given that her husband forces her to undertake this travel and causes her psychological and health problems due to his family's ill-treatment?

A wife's obedience to her husband regarding travel is obligatory, provided the country and route are safe, and she is not cut off from her family, unless otherwise stipulated in the marriage contract. The wife has the right to an independent dwelling separate from her husband's family, and she is not obligated to live with them except with her consent. If the husband provides an independent dwelling in his family's country, she does not have the right to refuse to travel; otherwise, she may refuse until he provides her with an independent dwelling. It is advisable to be patient with disagreements with the husband's family and to treat them with kindness, following the Holy Quran's call to repel evil with good.
