Is it permissible for me to name my son "Takbir"?

There is no Sharia (definition) impediment to naming with this name, for takbir (Allahu Akbar) linguistically means magnification, and the original ruling is the permissibility of naming with any name that does not carry a bad meaning. However, the best and most beautiful names should be chosen. Therefore, we advise against using it due to its lack of prevalence in the eras of previous Muslims, and there are many good and desirable names, such as the names of prophets and righteous people.
