It is permissible for a Saudi woman, or any other woman, to work as a nurse if she adheres to the

Islamic legal guidelines, such as not being inKhalwa (private seclusion) with non-Mahram (definition) men, not touching them, and not speaking in a

soft, alluring manner, in addition to observing the Hijab (definition). As for the color of the Hijab, it is not

required to be black; white is permissible. The choice between working in a clinic or a hospital

depends on the extent to which Islamic legal guidelines can be adhered to, and what is more

beneficial for Islam and Muslims.
