The answer

The granddaughters from the son inherit from the grandfather in three cases:

The first case: They inherit nothing if there is a direct son of the grandfather or two or more daughters.

The second case: They inherit one-sixth as a complement to two-thirds if there is only one daughter of the grandfather.

The third case: They inherit two-thirds when they are alone. If there is an 'asabah (male agnate) of their degree, the inheritance is divided according to the rule of "to the male, a portion equal to that of two females."
