Is the inheritance of the deceased, who left behind a mother, one wife, four full brothers, and two full sisters, to be calculated, knowing that he bequeathed his entire apartment to his wife to be sold?

If a man sells his apartment to his wife with a genuine, non-fictitious sale, the sale is valid, and the apartment becomes the property of the wife, while its price belongs to the heirs to be distributed according to Islamic law. However, if the sale was fictitious or involved favoritism, its situation is examined in detail as stated in a previous fatwa (definition).

In the event of the man's death, leaving behind a mother, a wife, brothers, and sisters: - The mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of a group of siblings. - The wife receives one-fourth due to the absence of direct descendants. - The remainder goes to the full brothers and sisters by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the share of two females.

The inheritance is divided into 120 shares: The mother receives 20 shares, the wife receives 30 shares, each full brother receives 14 shares, and each full sister receives 7 shares.
