Does a slow funeral procession indicate that the deceased was a sinner?

It was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, an order to hasten with the funeral, which includes hastening its procession to the grave and hastening its preparation and burial. The aforementioned hastening is required from those responsible for preparing and burying the deceased, and if they delay without a valid excuse, they have gone against the Sunnah (definition). The slow pace of the funeral procession does not indicate disobedience of the deceased, just as hastening it does not indicate their lack of disobedience. It is not appropriate to search for the faults of a Muslim when they die; rather, their virtues should be remembered, good thoughts should be held about them, and prayers for their forgiveness should be made.
