The answer

Religious deterrence is the internal monitor that prompts a person to obey God's commands and avoid His prohibitions; it is the essence of piety. Its effects encompass youth, as God will shade them on the Day of Resurrection.

Immediate Effects (in this world): 1. Emerging from every difficulty and receiving sustenance from unforeseen sources. 2. Ease and facilitation in affairs. 3. Facilitation of learning beneficial knowledge. 4. Unveiling the light of insight and discernment (furqan). 5. God's love and acceptance on Earth. 6. Good tidings (righteous dreams and people's praise). 7. Protection from enemies' plots and deception. 8. Acceptance of deeds. 9. Deliverance from the torment of this world. 10. Honor, awe from creation, and the sweetness of knowledge and faith. 11. Steadfastness in this world and the Hereafter. 12. Good tidings at the time of death.

Deferred Effects (in the Hereafter): 1. Expiation of sins and great reward. 2. Inheritance of Paradise. 3. Gathering the pious to the Most Merciful as an honored delegation. 4. Their attainment of the best of blessings. 5. Their friendships not turning into enmity.

Piety leads in this world to abundance and sustenance, ease and knowledge, love and acceptance, and in the Hereafter to rewards and expiation of sins, gardens, and blessings.
