The answer

Allah accepts the repentance and good deeds of an adulterer, provided that the repentance is sincere (tawbatan nasuha), including remorse, a firm resolve not to return to the sin, and ridding oneself of everything that leads to it. Adultery is a grave indecency. The punishment for a married adulterer is stoning to death, while for an unmarried adulterer it is one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. The punishment for adulterers in the (interim world) is that they will be in a furnace, with fire burning beneath them.
