What is the Islamic ruling on a woman who committed suicide before a criminal could rape her?

Suicide is one of the gravest sins and is forbidden, as it involves taking a life that Allah has commanded to preserve and forbidden to kill. Allah Almighty says: "And do not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is ever Merciful to you." As it is stated in the Hadith (definition): "And whoever kills himself with something will be tormented with it on the Day of Resurrection." What she did, driven by the motive to preserve her honor, is a grave sin, and we ask Allah to forgive her and have mercy on her.
