How can we reconcile the Quran's description of angels as having wings "two, three, and four" with the Prophet's description of Gabriel as having 600 wings?

There is no contradiction between the verse: (Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers having wings, two, three, and four) and the Hadith describing the Prophet's vision of Gabriel with six hundred wings. The verse means that some angels have two wings, some have three, and some have four. The increase in creation, to which Allah's saying (He increases in creation what He wills) refers, includes an increase in wings to six hundred or more, and Gabriel is among those whom Allah has endowed with six hundred wings.
