Is it permissible to accept financial compensation resulting from a false accusation from which I have proven my innocence?
It is impermissible to work as an actor in current television series and films, even if the actor does not perform indecent scenes. This is due to the abundance of forbidden acts present in them, such as the actor appearing with a woman who is unlawful to him, or touching her, or looking at her awrah (private parts). Furthermore, it constitutes aiding the rest of the crew in their falsehood, which is forbidden, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If someone removes you from the actors' syndicate, you do not have the right to demand compensation from them, unless you spent money to refute false accusations, in which case you may demand reimbursement for what you incurred.
