How is an inheritance divided among a wife, two full brothers, and six full nephews?

The wife receives one-quarter due to the absence of direct descendants, based on the Almighty's saying: "And for them [wives] is the fourth of what you leave if you have no child." The remainder goes to the two full brothers by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance), equally divided between them, based on the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and what remains is for the nearest male relative." The sons of the full brother receive nothing because they are completely excluded by the full brother. Thus, the inheritance is divided into eight shares: the wife receives two shares, and each full brother receives three shares. The matter must be brought before the Sharia courts for review and investigation of the estate.
