If the marriage contract is valid and fulfills the conditions, then you are legally his wife, and he is permitted from you what a man is permitted from his wife.

You are entitled to all a wife's rights, including maintenance, clothing, and housing, as long as you make yourself available to him.

Your husband must fear Allah and fulfill your rights completely. You, in turn, must be patient and handle the matter with wisdom.

If the reason for his shortcomings is difficult financial circumstances, it is better for you to consider his situation.

You have the right to take your case to a judge to compel him to fulfill your rights or to grant a divorce.

He is permitted to take his wife back if he desires to, and is able to provide maintenance, fulfill marital obligations, and act justly.
